Good point on personality. It’s starting to look more like what Ethridge demands through the team rather than just a couple players. We don’t matchup well with Hebard and Sabally but we played hard and fought throughout. We needed Subasic, Levy, and Cher. Molina to step up and make some shots. Still they fought to the end. Molina even look to get a clean block on one of their forwards in the last couple of minutes.Even though they lost by 15 I was impressed with them. The Ducks came out in the 3rd on fire. Especially Sallaby. She went 8-11 on 3's and I'd bet the majority were in the 3rd. They played better defense and we were cold in the 3rd. We went toe to toe with them except for the 3rd. Absolutely no give up. Hopefully they're taking on Ethridge's personality.
If the transfers had stayed and bought in I think we would have a couple more conference wins at this point. You are right though. It's all going to come down to whether Ethridge can recruit. I don't know how big an impact Murekatete makes next year but she looks like a good start.Great report Rich. Sounds like they need to score some big bodies to replace some that went away.
