I think overcoming a 20 point deficit in their first game and winning in OT was huge towards building confidence and belief in each other. Hope the students (and the locals) show up for their next game. They deserve it.

I can safely say i told you guys so. It is nice to see. The team is a good competitive team and will win some more ball games. They earned a lot of respect from the basketball world and humbled sandiego coug whom is one of SDSU s biggest supporters.The team will have to give 110% to win games against the better teams on their schedule but they will be competitive. The team has come along way since last year.

Since I do I told you so on Daniels shooting, I will gladly take one from you on Pollards shooting. His free throw shooting has improved the most of any player I have ever seen. Nice touch and rotation.

I'm going to take credit for how well the team is playing. I went to the scrimmage before the CU game and talked to the players and told them that I was confident that this was the year that I could go back to telling my Wichita State brethren that the Shockers are "the other WSU" again.

I'm liking Daniels more and more. He is playing as many or more minutes than anyone on the team. Nothing flashy, just good solid basketball. Pollard's improvement is unbelievable. Last year he would have missed half of the shots and all of the free throws he made against SDSU.

I said Pollard can shoot the ball. In his prep school year,he showed a very good mid range jumper. I think that he will show it as the season progresses. Shooting in many cases is a matter of confidence. Milan will improve too and will help the cougs become a better team.

Pollard has looked liked he really wants to pull the trigger on a 3 a few times this year.
