Saw that. Everything I heard Striblimg been lighting it up in camp. Great news for a position that’s graduating some talent. Couple other notables…Rogers over Travion? Look out for #3 on the RB depth chart he’s been turning heads from what I hear. Also, no Ben Wilson…surprised me. Wondering if something there…injury, disciplinary?
THAT is very interesting, but it also includes a Christian Mejia (sp) who has put in the work and looks ready to go. This is the most interesting and least predictable depth chart we've ever seen. So many walk-ons maybe what the doctor ordered. I'll be watching this first game and replaying it to see what these players are all about and what they bring to the table. Also interesting to me is the relatively high number of walkons on the 2-deep. Some have earned scholarships over the past year or two but I've counted at least 8 players who came to WSU as walkons that are now playing major roles. Not sure if that's an indictment against the coaches' recruiting of scholarship players or that the program is good at attracting talented non-scholarship players.
Glad Cougar
What if they're saying that they don't need those players in order to win this game, the guys they've listed are good enough for now, they want to give them experience and that they are capable of developing into integral members of the team. This might be a good strategy.Surprised no Hobbs unless there's an unreported injury.

Agreed. Let’s hope that these are his best kids. Can’t imagine any coach benching talent with out a good reason (e.g. injury, discipline). This is a bad strategy. He has coached 4 games. Rolo isn't in a place where he can hold talent off the field with the idea of saving them down the road. The kids need to play. This isn't pre season NFL. WSU needs all the wins they can get. Taking your best kids off the field to give the backups reps as starters isn't a recipe for success.
Only is they lose the game (and USU ain't bad) can you say that. None of us rightfully have a right to anoint them as a good coaching staff. Just playing devil's advocate here. Then again...some true starters may be dinged up.This is a bad strategy. He has coached 4 games. The DL better be able to run. They do not have the height, weight or length of arms to belly up to kids at 300, 330, etc and handle it.

I think Leach circumnavigated it with the classic "OR" tactic. I think it would be fun to put 5 guys on there with "OR" so the other team would have no idea.Is the depth chart required to be accurate i.e. does the league mandate it? Perhaps a little gamesmanship on Rolos part, though I can't imagine why?
I find this curious as well. I have faith in Dickert and make no mistake this is his defense. I think it’s highly unlikely they are saving anything. Let’s see how this plays out.Kind of baffled by the LBs outside of Jahad obviously. Travion has more talent in his shoe than Justus. And the TCU transfer no where to be seen despite high remarks.
Looks like we will know something tomorrow per Colton. What if they're saying that they don't need those players in order to win this game, the guys they've listed are good enough for now, they want to give them experience and that they are capable of developing into integral members of the team.
