Taking quite a while to announce the guys…even the ones who have supposedly been in agreement for a while. Seen very little press on any of it. As of this morning Atuaia Twitter profile is blank and has ?? At the location. Are we switching directions or were reports too early for some of the guys..

I don't think they were going to announce anything until the bowl game was over out of respect to the current coaches that are not being renewed. I expect the staff to be announced this week.
I have no idea what is taking so long. I'm getting impatient though. Lol. Filani gave Atuaia a follow this morning. I think they are in for sure. Leftwich is staying at ICU. So not sure who is gonna be special teams coach or inside wr/te coach.

Mike Jinks- rb at USC w Mcguire, was the rb coach at Tech under Kliff/Morris, followed Cameron Ward yesterday...problem is Atuaia is already our rb coach...I think. Lol
Seth Doege- was the te/iwr coach at USC past couple years. Time at Bowling green overlaps with Ward and Greene. Air Raid QB under Leach at Texas Tech.
Graham Harrell- extremely unlikely he'd take a wr coach job at this point. But obvious connections to Morris and this staff.

I think my first list is more likely however. I've heard that Dickert for the most part has given the keys of the offense over to Morris. We shall soon see.

I could see Chiaverini being special teams and inside receiver coach. I wonder if Malone is going to be the permanent CBs coach. If so, the defensive side is set. Cooper DE, Kaligis DT, Moore LB, Malone CB, Banker S.
I thought Ricardo Stewart was gonna be our CB coach and Malone move back to a more analyst/qc role, but now I'm not so sure. He did block my ass on Twitter for whatever that is worth. Lmao.

My memory is that all of the boxes that have to be checked, T's crossed, i's dotted, etc., do not normally get very far over the holiday break. And in light of many foobars at pretty much every university in the past few years, I would not be surprised if nothing gets announced until all of what ever checks are now mandatory are completed. For all I know they even scan social media before finalizing a hire. Do any of you guys know more than I do about that?
If you are a recruit and you cant be excited by this guys energy, you need to get to the doctor right away cause you don't have a pulse.

I will have to say I was concerned about the staff Dickert would hire. I think he may have exceed my expectations, so now it is filling in the rest of the 2022 recruiting class, so additional portal positions, keep what you have, spring ball and next year. A lot to happen between now and then.
