That got de Laura all fired up?

Apologies for the non-Rolovich topic.

I didn’t see anything so I don’t know.

But maybe related question: I thought i saw Shaw upset at WSU coach(es) when shaking hands, but I never saw or looked for anything on that and figured that I was just seeing things. Anyone else see anything?

Pretty sure Shaw got a bit of the Gatoraid bath intended for Rolo.

Missing the old Petrino/Leach exchange of love at the end of games. Downright neighborly.

It happened right after JDL took the final knee, at the center of the field between the two teams. I just saw JDL jawing toward some of the Stanford players. I took it as there had been some $hit talking by the Stanford D during the game and JDL fired back as the Cougs secured the win.

Stanford DT drove Greene back on the kneel down.
I think I saw a little jaw'ing before that but yeah that ultimately lead de Laura to get hot. It also appeared that one of the assistants was right there walking him away to try and bring the temperature down a bit.

I think Jayden was just still fired up from the 15 yard taunting penalty from the previous drive. He def has some sh*t talking to him. He is more Baker, Manzeil, Leaf than Peyton Manning or Falk. I like it.

I like Jaydens fire too, but he needs to control himself. A penalty like that in a tight game at the wrong time could be the difference between winning and losing. But I do like the fire!

I can't help but remember Ryan Leaf barking at Peter Sermon of the Ducks when the Cougs had wrapped up a victory over UO and went into victory formation. Everybody but Sermon went easy on the last couple of plays. However, he dove at TE Jon Kincaid's (I think?) knees and Kincaid suffered a torn ligament, ending his season. Leaf was about ready to start a fight but wisely kept it to words. I've hated Peter Sermon ever since.

Glad Cougar

The BYU game could get a bit salty. Lots of emotion and BYU has a reputation for playing "dirty".

I've always had a soft spot for BYU ever since they knocked UW out of the NC in 1984. Yes, I'm old. Don't tell anyone, but I think that UW team would have put a beat down on them.......

Well, that takes down my disdain for BYU from a 10/10 to a 9/10, I guess. I've always been amazed watching them play, which has been pretty often. Dirtiness and cockiness that, in a vacuum, one wouldn't expect from a religious school. I had a hardcore BYU fan in my office for several years, too, and he was like that even in trivial stuff like pickup basketball. It was bizarre.

My buddies on the 81 Holiday Bowl team said BYU was the dirtiest, most foul mouthed team they played that season.
