I think if UNLV goes to the PAC12 and Air Force to the AAC, there is a very good chance they will dissolve. However they do have all that money coming in from the PAC12 so I would be contacting programs such as UTEP and NM state and some of the top FCS programs in the west to try to rebuild or even merge with the Sunbelt or Conference USA. I do think the MWC has options.

This whole conference realignment thing is sad and reminds me of that old carton of progressively bigger fish eating smaller fish and it never ends.

All it takes is for UNLV to join PAC, Airforce to then join AAC, SJSU to get invited by PAC 8, then join PAC, Wyoming to join either C-USA, Sun Belt.

If, when that happens, the top 9 vote to dissolve MWC, and then PAC 8, AAC, Sun Belt, C-USA have no cost, no fees, no penalties, to get the top 9 MWC.

That's what the very credible article that Rebel Meister shared, linked, said: That if UNLV joins PAC 8, and if Airforce joins AAC, and if SJSU joins PAC 8, and if Wyoming joins C-USA, Sun Belt, that the top 9 could then vote to dissolve MWC and eliminate fees for PAC 8, AAC, C-USA, Sun Belt.
