The South has home field advantage and better coaching, but if the North gets it's act together and plays to win they should be able to get the W.
OSU has beer in the stadium. Why is WSU/WA/Whitman county so out of touch?
I think I heard WSU and UW would have to actually monitor tailgating consumption pretty closely in order to get beer in the stadium and both universities thought that was a bunch of ol' BS.
(I could be completely imagining this, but I think I am correct.)
Lead line in a summary story for the UO-OSU game written by Ducks beat writer James Crapea (a crapea writer) of the Oregonian/Oregon Live:
"Oregon Coug’d it and won’t be playing in the Pac-12 Championship game."
It's one thing to assign that term to a WSU team that blows a big lead, but to link it with another Duck debacle is insulting. Maybe the next time WSU chokes away a big lead, we should loudly state that the Cougars Ducked it up.
The one silver lining of losing the Apple Cup: the Ducks don't get to go to the conference championship game.
