The huge and athletic LOT and the right tackle (an Alabama graduate transfer) both had to leave the game v. the mutts.

Oregon was very committed to the run yesterday and the book on beating WSU is to pound the ball. This was a good weekend to have a bye and Oregon did have a couple of OL go down. Still the Coug front 7 needs to eat its Wheaties.

The Cougar defense is 4th in the conference in rushing defense, and first in pass defense (second in defense yards per game). Oregon is going to get its yards, but its offense is not designed to get them by playing smash mouth.

Spinach too.

Their guard Womack never returned and Sewell was in and out struggling with his knee......all I know is we need to double Mitchell #13. Herbert looks for him 80% of the time. I do think we can expose their secondary.

Penei Sewell was dancing in the locker room afterwards, FWIW. I'm guessing he'll be available. Don't know about Dallas Warmack -- possibly in a concussion protocol.

Not positive, but I was under the impression that Sewell has an ouchy ankle, not knee.

Their back up linemen did just fine, Oregon has a lot of depth, so unless it's Herbert with any injury, any other position won't have much of an impact.

Watch the last play of the game. It was the Oregon reserve right guard who blocked the husky lineman and then took out a linebacker as the RB went in unmolested.

Penei Sewell (freakish 6'6" 360lb LT youngster) is out for 6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Guard Alabama transfer Dallas Warmack is "full go."

They'll move RJr Calvin Throckmorton over to LT. Throckmorton is solid. Brady Aielo, who is also solid, will take over at RT.

From duck football: Freshman LT Penei Sewell will miss about six weeks with the ankle injury he suffered vs. UW. Oregon’s depth was an asset in the overtime win, and will need to be going forward.

Sewell is out six weeks. So much for that lockerroom dance...
