I personally don't think it's going to be quick. I think Chun has hired a consulting search firm, for council, help, negotiations, etc, and that's going to add time in the process. Since Pat wants to do it right, it may take longer. However, if there's a candidate that other school AD's are circling over, he might bring someone in fast.

Really comes down to two words: It depends.

He basically said “it will happen when it happens.” Which was the only answer he should have given on timeline.

The timeline is - they need to hire before the dinner events so I can meet and talk to the next HC!

Speaking of that, I met meet CML right after he was hired and it was... weird. Meet and greet definitely isn't his scene. That being said, Shawn McWashington was there as well and that guy is awesome.
