Williams needs to be the starting PG

After watching the last few games it is clear to me that our biggest issue lies at the PG spot… We have 2 points that have a single skill set. They are not ball distributors, they may have been able to penetrate and finish at lower levels but not in the PAC 12..
I think the move to PG will also help Williams. He can focus more on attacking and setting up others… At the moment every player on the floor with the exception of Jaks can only do one thing, bigs included..
If we are gonna play such an unstructured offense let’s at least get guys in a position to maximize their talents..
Noah can create via the drive and still has the height and athleticism to see over the defense.. If he accepts that role instead of trying to score it could help the offense move..

This has been my view all year long. Noah having a bad year has diluted my view but overall I still think he would be our best choice as a point guard. Clearly neither Flowers or Roberts has a clue how to distribute the ball.

Simply can't play both Roberts and Flowers at the same time. Both are SG and too short

I would do this also

The way we shot inside the arc it's hard to win but lost it at the line and not able to get stops.

This game pretty much is the season in a nutshell. Not good enough to win a lot of games.

horrible turnovers, some horrible shot selection.

team has no identity.

That is their identity plus the coach's aw shucks post games. (to be fair, fewer TOs than USC tonight)

What WSU team would Flowers and Roberts have such free run (because of no other options)?
Ernie's 2nd team?

True, no good identity :)

Regarding Flowers and Roberts i'd say that's about right.

There’s no bright side to this one but it was good to get Jackson back. Not only does he have the best post game of the bigs but he also seems to process situations better. He has his flaws and there was definitely rust but a solid game after so much time off.

That's my silver lining, too. Jackson provides good defense inside, too. 3 blocked shots and altered many more. If he had been able to put in that baby hook in that last possession, that would've been huge. But it was good to see him out there. Absolutely nothing out of Efe & Geuye last night....and, unfortunately, AJ did not shoot the ball as well as he normally does. The missed FTs were huge. USC made 14 more FTs, I think. This team just can't put together a complete game against good competition. I have no more expectations for this season but hope the close losses can translate into learning how to win these tight games next year.

One other positive, and maybe my imagination, but it seemed there was a lot more passing on offense than dribbling. That appeared to give us better looks than normal.
