Wisconsin sold out.

Hopefully the student section is packed. This was always going to be a big game, given the current circumstances and uncertain future of the program it’s huge. Should be best atmosphere since Gameday.

Great job by the fans.

Wonder how many tickets could've been sold if Chun had followed Biggsy's stadium expansion imperative?
Carry the 2….at least 80K by game day. Probably 40K walk ups!

It’s great we sold out, but this is a perfect example of why a bigger stadium would be a waste of money. I was one of the naive ones who thought this game would sell out the first day single game tix went non sale.- It’s the biggest event since Gameday IMO. Nope, we finally sell it out the week before.

OSU may be our last sellout unless we stay undefeated. And yes other than next weekend when I’ll be out of town, my ass will be occupying a seat for all 4 Qs rain or shine win or lose for every game, so spare me the Coug loser our program doesn’t need you crap.

I'd guess we could have sold another 7-10K tickets if the seats had existed.
Sorry crazy. Not a chance if we JUST sold out. I’ll be happy if everyone who bought tix shows. Maybe we sell 2-3K more…maybe. These tix have been available for a couple of months. For perspective I bought 11 for a group I’m going with that includes some Wisconsin natives first day I could get them. I don’t see 7-10K more fans deciding on doing a one day giddy up to Pullman a few days before kickoff.

Maybe, still it underscores thr problem wsu has always had, fans coming to see the team we are playing, not to see the cougs
Absolutely right. You'll have proof of that next weekend vs. Northern CO.

We like to rail on the SEC for scheduling cupcake body bag games, but you know why they get away with it? Because they sell out their home games no matter who they're playing.

I hear ya 90, but, at the end of the day, a sellout is a sellout.

Coaches and players handled their business by whipping Colorado State.

Dr. Schultz and Chun are leading the way by getting the new IPF built.

Cougar Nation is doing its job by packing the stadium.

All parties have a reason to celebrate

"At the end of the day" sounds too much like CJD!

How about at 11:59pm?

WSU's capacity used to be something like 38k, as I recall. Of course, that was back before Boise State or Gonzaga being as relevant as they have been, when WSU owned Spokane more than it seems to now, with cheap gas (at least for part of this period), prior to all the games (supposedly) being on TV in high-def, and when the culture otherwise cut more in favor of in-person attendance.

No. Saban was complaining that no one was coming to see them play cupcake opponents a few years ago.

Speaking of Wisconsin, I passed their huge equipment semi heading across Montana on I90 Wednesday.
Yeah, someone on Die Hard Cougs posted a picture of their two semi trucks, which are staying down in Lewiston. Interesting it's Lewiston and not Moscow.

Speaking of Lewiston, beginning October, there will be direct flights with Delta from Seattle, (and other major cities) directly into Lewiston airport.

I'll be there...in spite of having a hangover from the Rick Springfield, Tommy Tutone, Tubes and Paul Young concert at the injun casino. I'll be scoping out cougars tonight and Cougars tomorrow.
And that's what the Cleveland Indians should have rebranded to: the Cleveland Engines instead of the guardians. What? What I say? Cleveland is a machinist town, no? That's all I have to say about that.

I thought about going however Paul Young is the only one I really would want to see.
Enjoy the cougar hunt!
