I think he will have trouble throwing the ball in college at only 6'1".

In all seriousness though, given Gardner's history of not being satisfied as a backup, things worked out perfectly for us. If he had come to WSU and realized he wasn't going to start for several years behind Falk....he would have been gone before he would have had a chance to take the job. We would have just been the Troy on his list. Things worked out just like they were supposed to....and it gave him time to grow that mustache that agcoug so accurately described as necessary for the job.
