1 reason we don't hire within for this position is because of how poorly the defense played with the current coaching.

1 reason we hire within is because of the lack of change in play calling. Leach doesn't like change. He might not do anything different with the d. I hope he does do something really different.

Same team that has had the better QB room the last six years. One could make an argument our backups for most of those years were better than their starters.
