Colorado, Utah and UCLA made it to the Sweet 16. Kind of crazy that we beat them all in the Pac-12 tourney, but got bounced in round1 of the NCAA.
UCLA plays four freshman and a sophomore in their rotation. I think youth has something to do with being soft and appearing to not be the best coached program.Really would have liked a shot at Villanova. I think we would have matched up well against them. They have a great offensive player in Maddy Siegrist, but I think Wallack would have matched up well. Oh well.
Utah's in a battle with LSU. UCLA has a ton of talent. It just doesn't seem like it's the best coached program and/or "UCLA soft" at times.
Credit deserved this year for their Tournament performance, but to me it's not a 1-year thing. I just don't think Close is a good coach. Kinda' Ernie-ish IMO.UCLA plays four freshman and a sophomore in their rotation. I think youth has something to do with being soft and appearing to not be the best coached program.
