West Linn's Sam Leavitt threw for 347 yards and 6 TDs last night vs. #6 Tigard to lead the #2 ranked Lions to a 63-14 victory in a game that ended with a running clock in the 2nd half. For the season, Leavitt has thrown for 1,878 yards, 21 TDs, and 4 interceptions. Any of you Portland-area Cougars seen this kid play? Hopefully, he'll do better than the last Oregon-grown QB that came to Pullman, Connor Neville.

Very hard to judge QB talent out of Oregon because the level of play is so weak. Oregon's # 1 Central Catholic (then) played Cali's St. John Bosco and got thumped 49-0, 35-0 at the half. Central gained 46 yards total, Bosco played 4 QBs, 7 RBs.
