WSU has been lost to the NWO

May 8th and nary a peep.

Weak. Bunch of millennial de-populationists.

I remember hanging the celebratory banners from Bryan Tower in the wee hours of the morning, then an all day keggar on the Palouse.

11 I made a video during covid about my years at wsu so I could show my kids what WSU meant to me. I took four years of pics from the chinook and married it with era appropriate music .

In one of the pics is a woman in a tee shirt that has “Hurray Hurray for may… unfortunately I don’t know how to link it but the day is on my mind …

"isn't today your Hooray day? Good Luck! " neither is a Coug, but both remembered.

Well…it’s the first day of summer school for WSU, so population is way down. Not that they’d officially acknowledge it anyway.

When I got to Pullman in the fall of 1970, there were two things stenciled on sidewalks all over campus. One was "Hooray, hooray for the 8th of May" and the other was "Trout Fishing in America". Took a while to figure out what each one referred to.

By the way, if you ever get into a disagreement with someone about whether it is the 1st or the 8th of May that is actually "National Outdoor Intercourse Day", just remind them it is the 8th because that is the 69th of March! :)
