I believe his dad played at Davis high and his grandfather was Yakima’s mayor. The family is very connected to Yakima athletics.

Marjon still goes back to Yakima to ball with friends during the summer. He has not lived his entire life in Seattle. He is a very nice intelligent young man.He scored 43 points with 10 threes in his last game. He hit the winning free throws with seconds remaining. He also used to play for Garfield.It would be quite a coup but the offers will only increase for him.

MarJon's father is the son of the late Henry Beauchamp, a longtime Yakima City Council member and director of O.I.C. There are other Yakima connections but we won't get into those here.
