That’s a big number, and Arizona is a much better team now. The weather won’t help them, however. Then again, JDL had never been in weather under 60 degrees before coming to Pullman.

Arizona is playing much better. I don’t see this being more than a 10 point game.

Yea, I tend to agree, but it’s tough to say. Arizona is playing better, but they’re getting thoroughly getting out played.

This is also a potential letdown situation for them, as there is for all bad teams. It’s tough to keep grinding when you’re 1-9. They’ve been at home the previous 2 weeks and they have ASU after us. If we can get up on them, they’ll likely fold. They’ve been waxed in all of their road games this season.

One of the things about Arizona is that they are 1-9, but the have played seven of those games at home. The three games that they have played on the road are a 41-19 loss at Oregon, a 34-0 loss at Colorado, and a 41-34 loss at USC. They were way behind at halftime, and came back to make the score look closer than the game was. So, they tend to get blown out away from Tucson.

So you’re saying they’re due?

This team has no business being more than a touchdown favorite against anyone. They are averaging 25 points a game, how can you justify giving up 15+ points.

I think we win, but the margin of the win is on Arizona. They have shown clear improvement. This could be a nail biter, or it could be a 21 point win...or anywhere in between. I'm not surprised at the line, but I have no idea how to bet this one. My only thought is that I'd probably take the Over in an Over/Under bet.

Frankly, I don't think our offense is strong enough to give us a 21 point win. We've gone past 34 exactly once this year, and that was against Portland State. Against ASU, even with 5 takeaways we only got 34. Smart money says this game stays within 10, and I'd put the over/under at about 48-50
