On my internet feed of stories. I clicked a story link that had WSU as 5th in conference.

Wish I thought to bookmarked it to share it with you all.

It had UCLA at 1st.

2nd: Oregon

3rd: USC

4th: Ore St.(ok pick, I disagree, think WSU will be better. Other sources I have seen have put WSU as high as 4th, and at 5th, 6th in conference.).

5th: WSU:

6th: Colorado

7th: ASU: Disagree, I put Arizona here)

8. Utah: disagree. Arizona or ASU here.

9th: Arizona. Disagree. Arizona shouldn't be this low.

10th. Stanford: I think Stanford should be 9th, and Utah be here.

11th. UW

12. Cal.

The article didn't just rank, but gave some very good in depth explanations, comparisons, and covered lots of nuances, such as depth, departures, returning, quality of players, quality of coaching, chemistry, fit, schedule, competition, recruiting, stats, production, previous season results, comparisons, trends, etc.

I think that WSU will be 3rd,in conference at best, 4th, 5th,6th at average, 7th, at below average. 8th at ultimate worst(Would be a UNDERACHIEVEMENT)

What do any of ya all think?

Probably this one: https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/07/12/basketball-order/

I've maxed my views with them, so the site closes out within a few seconds. Requires a subscription.

Also has WSU at 5th: https://www.deseret.com/2021/7/12/22573897/utah-basketball-pac-12-way-too-early-predictions

I think anything below 5th would be disappointing to me. 5th would be fine. 3rd or 4th would be fun, and anything higher would be amazing and Smith would be getting looks from some serious programs.

I think that looks about right. I believe UW will be higher, “sorry” and Oregon state will be lower. I am hopeful we can finish in the top 4 and believe it to be highly possible.

Agree on Oregon State and at first glance would put them 6th if I had to rank. Think WSU and the Buffs fight for 4th -5th spot, with Arizona being the possible dark horse. Tempted to put ASU in there someplace because of the talent, but to many new part along with Hurely's coach ability make me think they will be in the bottom half of the conference. Cal seem destined to be at 12 and the rest look interchangeable.
