As a HC you have a responsibility to the school to put out the best coached and prepared team you can. You also have a responsibility to the players that have entrusted you with the most valuable asset they have, their eligibility, to provide them with the best instruction you can. The idea that you would knowingly keep a coach that you KNOW is not good enough fails both the school and the players.
