77-73 over the gamecocks. So it will probably be Gonzaga vs North Carolina for the title Oregon with Boucher would have made it . They are down now 71-63. I predicted the zags victory and they may take it all
Wow, you predicted a #1 seed beating a #7 seed? Congratulations.77-73 over the gamecocks. So it will probably be Gonzaga vs North Carolina for the title Oregon with Boucher would have made it . They are down now 71-63. I predicted the zags victory and they may take it all
Glad, I am not aware of Few's disrespect towards the Cougs. Would love to hear some examples, though.Yeah, I've read your posts. If you look back at your original post in this thread, you bragged about picking Gonzaga to beat South Carolina. I guess a lot of us can also brag about such a bold pick. What happened to the other #1 seeds? Well, one of them is also in the title game. Since you can't have more than two #1 seeds in the title game, I guess it's plausible that the other 2 didn't make it. I acknowledge that Few has been a great coach....doesn't mean I have to like him or root for him. He has not shown a lot of respect for WSU over the years, and since I'm a Cougar fan first, that sticks with me.
Glad Cougar
The Zags are absolutely on fire, and NC had all they could handle with a team that lost its star player and pretty much handed them the game on a platter.Las Vegas odds makers have made North Carolina a early two point favorite. I still like the zags in this match-up.
Keep in mind South Carolina's Thornwell was playing with the flu and wasn't nearly as productive as he had been in previous games. I'm hoping for a good game. The Zags are absolutely on fire, and NC had all they could handle with a team that lost its star player and pretty much handed them the game on a platter.
That loss is going to sting for a long, LONG time in Eugene because those players simply let themselves and each other down.
Zags win by double digits.
And Oregon didn't have their best player - at all. And their other two top players went 5/22, a lot of those shots were open too.Keep in mind South Carolina's Thornwell was playing with the flu and wasn't nearly as productive as he had been in previous games. I'm hoping for a good game.
You made the point on Boucher in your first post. I only was adding that South Carolina wasn't at full strength either. And Oregon didn't have their best player - at all. And their other two top players went 5/22, a lot of those shots were open too.
I'm not rooting for the Zags or hating on the Heels, just my .02.
