1 player = Cougs Undefeated for 2018?

We would have had over 30 vs cal evcept for some fluke plays and bad ref calls.
Probably even Super Bowl champions
Hindsight is 20/20. The agents that pursued him were somewhere on the spectrum ranging from outright lies to overly optimistic when it came to his chances of being drafted. We went back and forth about that on this board, and most of us recognized that he was a "tweener" and unlikely to be drafted, though we figured that some team(s) would invite him to try out. The Vikings did that; he tore his ACL; and we'll never know what might have happened this season for Herc. Hopefully he successfully rehabs and maybe he will make the team next year, and maybe he won't. Time will tell.
As for whether we would be undefeated with Herc....I think we would have won all the same games that we won; and I think we would have beaten SC. But what Herc brings to the party would probably have not helped with slush compacting to ice in our cleats, so I doubt that he would have made a substantial difference in the Apple Cup. We probably would have made a top 12 bowl, however, with only one loss...

We would have been in the RB with only one loss. Then again that 5th quarter against Oregon would have taken us out.
Oh I'm all about talking about ifs and buts. It what makes sports interesting. It's why we play the game! IF there was no snow in 92, UW wins. IF there was no snow in 18, UW wins.
Wow, somebody is a little sensypoo! No worries, though, IF Gameday was in Pullman for the Apple Cup the Cogs would have won. Does that help?
So true about the shoes back then. That old turf was flat and the normal shoes were small nobbies that got packed with snow instantly. There really was no good option for shoes and snow on that old astro turf

If yes, you for sure would have been in a "top 12 bowl". If no, I say probably not (because wizzu would have been coming off of two straight losses).

I agree through that we would have crushed UW if Gameday was there to help us. Rumor has it Herbsrreit can really chuck it in the snow and Desmond Howard can cut on a dime in any conditions. Corso would have been the answer we needed for Gaskin too.
In 20 years I have posted on Husky boards once? Maybe twice. Never inflammatory, never seeking to make sure they were saying all the "correct" things about my team and its roster of teenagers who don't know I exist, never ensuring they gave me the "respect" I deserve. I also never see Cougs mixing it up with Mutts on their boards, though I'm sure you could find an exception? Maybe?
By contrast.... for people who are "over" WSU, there sure are a lot of them spending a lot of time on our boards policing what goes on here. There is a really broken psychological thing going on there...
