The funny part about your post is that ALL the information you treasure and post here has been massaged by an editor.

The difference being traditional editors generally were bound by journalistic standards where they at least tried to maintain objectivity and avoid blatant biases. Of course, not always succeeding. But they have a set of standards and principles. That's why you see them issue corrections and retraction and occasionally even sanctioning or suspending reporters.

Your sources do absolutely NONE OF THAT. Your "news" sources are their own sole editor and they flaunt their biases. That's why you are their follower. You're not into objective information. You seek affirmation and confirmation of your own preset idealogy. That's all I have to say about that

It's just as UNCONSTITUTIONAL as them trying to BAN Tik Tok.

If US citizens want to Download DeepSeek onto their personal home PC, and use it offline, or when they online, as a alternative to ChatGPT, then how is that creating harm, hurting National security?, etc.

Newsflash it isn't causing harm, or hurting National Security.

This is the same type of FEAR MONGERING they did in regards to Tik Tok but worse.

At least, if they had Banned Tik Tok, and then people download use Tik Tok, that ban probably wouldn't have such harsh penalties.

In theory if a highschool kid downloads and innocently uses DeepSeek as alternative to ChatGPT, that Highschool kid could goto prison for 20 years, if the legislation passed.

That's cruel punishment. It's not hurting National security, anyone, etc.

If it were to pass the Appeals courts, Supreme Court would probably strike it down for being UNCONSTITUTIONAL, EXTREME, CRUEL, HARSH punishment, etc.

Fortunately the Bill, ban has been tabled, and unlikely to pass.
