We might have missed Peyton more than we thought we would have. If nothing else, he brings valuable experience and depth.
As for No. 2, I've accepted Grinch's departure. Next coach up.

Yes, the loss of Pelluer followed by Dotson's absence was a killer. We had a lack of depth of heft in the middle of the D-line and were in sore need a solid play from the MLB position to back up that area. Throwing young and inexperienced kids into the gap didn't work. The young guys are now more experienced but the addition of Peyton's experience and leadership is needed. The lack of depth and size in the middle of the D-line will still be there next year.
