What a crock, Herm and AD had to know what was going on with the 20+ plus visitors during Covid shut down. Lack of institutional control, if there ever was any.
The craziest part is it sounds like Antonio Pierce, who reportedly architected most or all of the offending conduct, isn't out either.
The good news in some ways is that ASU under Herm is pretty much a dead-end now. Even though he's not getting fired, that program no longer is a threat at all, and he'll probably retire after one more year anyway, then able to say he wasn't pushed out or fired due to the scandal. Not only is he really getting up there in years, their season this year was disappointing, their recruiting is awful, and they are having to replace a ton of coaches. They also are positioned worse in their division more now than they were a year ago, when it looked like they might be the best team in the South. Now Utah clearly is better and has momentum, USC took a quantum leap, and even Fisch is recruiting way better than Herm.

The idea that coaches don’t know everything that’s going on with their programs with the amount of time they spend with players, coaches, boosters, is insane. They always do. They know the cars players drive and who their fat little girlfriends are.
