The start of the basketball season .The cougs have six new players to add to the rotation. The starting lineup will be interesting. I see the starting five being:
Starters Backups
Pf 6'9 Pollard 6'11 Cooper
Pf 6"7 Franks 6'9 Chidom
Sf 6'7 Elleby 6'8 Kunc
Sg 6'6 Cannon 6'0 Daniels
Pg 6'2 Robinson 5'10 Ali
It may take a few games before the starters and rotations are set. However it should shake out with the above players starting and rotations set.

Hard to say. I wouldn't rule Skaggs out of the rotation, even a starter. Also, Daniels experience and gritty play will make him harder to move out of the lineup than people think. I dont know much about Wade, but I think he will get a good look during the non conference season.

I would say that’s pretty close but I think Daniels starts. Also think Skaggs might start at beginning of season while Elleby adjusts then moves to the back up. Personally don’t see Kunc contributing much this year. Also the point guard battle will be interesting to watch and I could see times when both are on the floor at the same time. Definitely need a program for the first game.

Any idea when the schedule gets released? Should be any day now.

Daniels was most consistent player last year, played the most minutes. Daniels' .455 (71-156) 3PT FG% in 2017-18 is the fifth-best in WSU history and the best by any Coug with 67 or more 3s in a season. Sure sounds like a starter to me.

Yes the starting lineups will probably change during the course of the season I would like to see a rotation of the older players and the new comers .

Daniels to me is the perfect sub. He is not a physically talented player and is a little short but hustles his behind off. He has problems matching up with the better physically talented teams. Suffice it to say,he will get his minutes as a experienced veteran

I don't see a lot of scenarios where Daniels doesn't start. He's somewhat the Micah Hannam of hoops. The only way I could see someone jumping ahead of Daniels is if Skaggs improves his defense a lot or Ali and Robinson come in and are a lot better. I am really excited to see what Ali can do but that first year for JCs is typically a bit of an adjustment.

Agree Daniels is a starter. Experience is what counts and until a player gets beat out they will be starting. Seniors will rule.
