I like how he let's Mateer do his own thing, use his instincts, and does CJD not micro manage.
Crazy that he doesn't insist Mateer to slide to avoid injury. Crazy that Mateer bulldozes as a running back, with no slide. Again, no micro-manage here. Let the guy perform his natural ability and instincts.
