There have been so many lopsided bowl games this year. Once again, too many teams without a winning record and with glaring deficiencies matching up in games in which things can go sideways in a hurry. Just too many bowls, period. I'm a broken record, but if you can't win a majority of your games in the regular season, you aren't good enough to be rewarded with a post season appearance.

I have always wondered, why do people actually care? Personally, I watch the games I want to watch and don't watch the games I do not care about. If they had more games, it would not bother me at all because I wouldn't have to watch them. But, there are fans of those teams that do.
Remember also that Purdue blew out Ohio State. Stuff happens. Blow outs happen in the regular season too.
Also, there would have been years during Doba and Wulff that we would have killed to make a bowl game at 6-6.
