CWU & their conference announced yesterday that they are suspending all athletics through November 30. Effectively cancels football.

There’s a lot less money at this level (Div II). But Seems likely this will ripple outward to other conferences and divisions. The conference includes Western Oregon, so takes another game off Idaho’s schedule, and will start hitting other FCS schools.

Not sure I see this cycle stopping until it wipes out the 2020 season.

Even if the season starts if one kid, Coach tests positive it’s over. I say there’s a 25% chance there’s any games played and a 5% chance the season lasts more than 2 weeks. NFL is a different deal because players still want to get paid and they can sign that they won’t sue the league. They will work it out and I believe will have a full season.

One of the FCS conferences has already pulled the plug. Colonial, i think. As more leagues close up shop, it’ll get tougher for others to play - both from a schedule perspective and political pressure.
