That was stinky. Worse than either Pacific game.

Good thing USD hadn't won 6 games all year instead of 4 -- we might have had a problem. This team is cooked, to the extent that wasn't obvious. Next year's squad needs various improvements and adjustments.
I didn't know we were up 53 to 25 at half. We went 8-14 from 3 in the 1st half then 2-9 in the 2nd. We gave up 61 points in the 2nd half. Wow...
I guess you didn't have the pleasure, or displeasure of watching the game. They completely fell apart the last 10 minutes. They must have committed 10 TERRIBLE turnovers in the last 5 minutes. Lazy passes, and just plain throwing the ball to the other team. I thought USD was going to pull it out. Calmese was on the bench in a warmup jersey most of the second half. Don't know if he was injured or not.
Since Coach Dreamy is on hiatus, sure wish we could get him and his dad in for a few clinics on defense and passing. Rich is totally right about the fourth quarter: Root canal territory. Hell, set the team down and make them watch those Bobby Knight passing drill VHS tapes from the 80's. Five different touches and 25 seconds minimum before taking a shot in the 4th with a decent lead.
