Another transfer QB

wonder how many eligibility years these transfers plan to spend as a Coug (?)

The other Transfer QB has 3 years eligibility. Don't know how many years of eligibility this Transfer has.

The other Transfer QB is from Rutgers in the Big 10, and is at least a 3.5 star+.

Zevi will be pushed, but will still be the starter.

After that, the 2 Transfer QB's will battle it out to be the starter, after Zevi gone, with the loser likely transferring.

The starter will start as a Junior, after Zevi gone, then get a NIL Deal and Transfer somewhere else for their senior year, most likely.

Jaxon Potter likely transfers out after this his coming sophmore season, this coming season.

QB Room:

QB 1: Zevi.

2. Transfer QB from Rutger.

3. The other Transfer QB

4. Jaxon Potter.

5. The freshman HS QB recruit.

Next Season after this coming season:

Zevi Gone.

QB1: Transfer QB from Rutger.

Back Up: The other Transfer QB.

Jaxson Potter might Transfer out, but if not, Back up #3

Freshman HS QB: Might Transfer out, but if not Back up #3 or 4.

59% chance Rogers brings in 1 Transfer QB.

Next season after that.

Transfer QB from Rutger transfers out, gets big NIL deal.

The other Transfer QB is 50/50 on whether Transfer out or stay be QB 1.

Jaxson Potter 50/50 on whether Transfer out or be QB 1

75% chance that the freshman HS recruit from Zevi's last season gone, but if not, 50% chance that QB 1.

67% chance that Roger's brings in 1,2 more Transfer QB's.

So QB room, depth, recruiting looks very good under Rogers so far.

4 QB's in one recruiting cycle is more than a lot. The two incoming frosh, plus these two transfers (3 years and 3-4 years left respectively). Both may be P4, but they were benchwarmers. So these 4 plus Dart (any other returners?) with Zevi gone after this year is a lot of guys to develop. Agree with some of what Mik predicts about who stays and goes.

Not going to matter soon.
Basically every funding agency is seeing massive cuts, and those that remain are cutting overhead rates to unsustainable levels. Research is going to fall off a cliff.
Tuition increases are capped, and demand right now is pretty soft.
State operational funding is being reduced, with the current proposal falling about 6% short of what was requested. And that's without factoring in the threatened elimination of federal funding.

Lean times are coming to WSU, and to most other research institutions. The primary focus is going to be on keeping the lights and heat on...not on whether we can land high-demand recruits and coaches.
