Saw it. Don't know if there is any truth to it, though. Stuck my foot in that steamy pile yesterday... didn't want to propagate another steamy pile. This plane that is being tracked. Left Arkansas landed in Pullman via Lewiston.
Twitter stuff
No. And none of the flight trackers I looked at showed any indication of one. But someone came from Savannah for lunch in Pullman yesterday. This plane that is being tracked. Left Arkansas landed in Pullman via Lewiston.
Twitter stuff
Lewiston shows no departures headed to Pullman. Pullman shows no arrivals from Lewiston. Neither shows any arrivals from anywhere in Arkansas.
Yeah, but that isn't what all the twitter rumors are about. They explicitly show several flights to/from Lewiston and Pullman out to Arkansas. Something about a lawyer/booster's private plane. So 95 (other) is spot on. Stuff is being made up to propagate their own wanted outcome OR just to stir the pot.Yeah but there is an Elite Airways flight from GEG to Oxford direct, flying right at this moment.
Sounds like someone looking on google maps and fabricating what they think is a believable narrative. This plane that is being tracked. Left Arkansas landed in Pullman via Lewiston.

You would think so. Bama landed their plane at Pullman. Why would they drive an hour/ make Leach drive an hour to meet when there is an airport in Pullman for just that purpose?geg oxford is going to Spokane isn't it ? that's 90 minutes away, wouldn't they land closer ?
All the while, an Ol Miss charter plane is in GEG... Sounds like something is off. If CML is in Arkansas, they wouldn't fly him out of GEG/Pullman. And vice versa that Arkansas wouldn't be flying him out of GEG/Pullman if he's already in the south.Sounds like someone looking on google maps and fabricating what they think is a believable narrative.
Wth would a private charter stop in Lewiston and not fly straight through to Pullman?

Since I know exactly nothing about private commercial, I will gladly spew my best guesses: fuel or other logistics that are not available in Pullman; perhaps it costs less to land/take off there; privacy, especially if the meeting is going to happen on the plane.
There's all kinds of rumors. Leach can identify a qb to run his system for sure.It landing in Lewiston or Spokane helps to minimize internet rumors to some degree. Planes from Arkansas or Mississippi to Pullman stand out boldly.
Something is up.Gotta admit, it would be kind of satisfying to cut bait with Leach and start the search for his replacement now. He's taken our program as far as he can, and we're in a good position to start a fresh search.
I can't imagine Oxford, MS has a ton of charter services. Anyone flying a charter from Oxford to Spokane would probably use the same service as the Ole Miss athletics department.
Regardless, we've entered silly season and lots of stories gets cooked up this time of year. I don't trust the rumor and innuendo surrounding coaching searches. I'll believe Leach is gone when it happens but, for the time being, I think he stays here.
So you're suggesting Spurrier is our next HC?I hate to say this but... I honestly like how the Dawg coach has stepped down. It was obviously open and transparent with the admin. They obviously talked extensively regarding the other idiot that's going to step up and take over. Talk about a seamless transition with little/no affect on the program.
Now given, that is not normal nor to be expected but man... when looking at program health, kudos. This "is he? Is he not?!" crap sucks.
So you're suggesting Spurrier is our next HC?
I would rather be in this position every December than the alternative of nobody wanting our coach. This "is he? Is he not?!" crap sucks.

I don't know about CML always wanting bigger and better. And before I elaborate let me just say: I'm not being all homer-y and pining for him to stay. If he goes he goes, if he stays he stays. That being said -That's something I can get behind. Timing might be right to grab Graham from USC and anoint him OC. Bring back Ken Wilson from Oregon and give him the DC title.
Sucks.... but every year we will be going through the same song and dance with CML. His goal isn't/wasn't to retire at WSU. He is grateful Moos and Floyd (RIP) gave him the opportunity to resurrect his career. He is itching for something bigger...I would be doing the same thing. Home is Key West and Pullman is about as far away from home as one could be living in the lower 48.
Don't want to be the debbier downer here just speaking the truth...oh and I have already bought my funeral insurance so the grieving period will be short lived.
MaybeI could see a WSU coaching list look something like this. No particular order:
Graham Harrell
Sonny Dykes
Alex Grinch
Rich Rodriguez
Bryan Harsin

he's had a taste of a big time program and hated it, or at least the politics that went with it. His own words from swing your sword. Regents and boosters are even worse at blue blood/ east coast/ SEC teams. I would think that if he bailed it would be to somewhere that didn't have that issue, which might be Ark for a while, but eventually they'd get full of themselves.
I think some are forgetting that he would be at Tennessee right now, were it not for their AD being fired. Despite what Leach says, they met, there was a conditional offer and he accepted it. He wanted that job. That’s a bigger, (somewhat) blue blood, SEC team.I don't know about CML always wanting bigger and better. Need a 4 year commitment from an entire staff. That's something I can get behind. Timing might be right to grab Graham from USC and anoint him OC. Bring back Ken Wilson from Oregon and give him the DC title.

If this is the best we can get we will quickly revert to Wulffian levels.
Well, Currie was a rogue AD when he made the offer but Leach obviously would have accepted. Ole Miss and Arkansas aren't in UTenn class but I don't doubt he would take either job just based on their resources and not being in Pullman.I think some are forgetting that he would be at Tennessee right now, were it not for their AD being fired.
