I find it very interesting that we were tied with LSU last week, but somehow they got more votes this week and moved ahead of us.
That makes as much sense as anythingThey must have had a better bye week. In the SEC even bye's are tougher.
With Wilners logic and those like him, you could play the top 12 teams in the country, go 0-12 with hard fought losses and be ranked 13th. Losses don’t mean shit apparently. Then why did WSU drop when it lost with that logic.
Wilmer has always had suspect logic and is very over-rated as a writer. He is just the only one that covers the Pac 12, so people think he is good because there is no one else. With Wilners logic and those like him, you could play the top 12 teams in the country, go 0-12 with hard fought losses and be ranked 13th. Maybe the 2008 Huskies were a pretty good team after all.
It's time to move to at least an 8 game playoff. That way the playing field is fair for more teams and not just for the sec and other so called blue blood programs.

I see your 64, and I raise you to 128. Better yet, a year-round season, and the NC is the team that still has enough uninjured players to field a team.Need a 64 team playoff. Cut the season to 10 regular season games. Every conference plays 8 league games. No FCS match ups. No conference championship games. Guarantee each team plays 12 games a year with post season games.
At 64, that would increase to 6 additional games to a regular season if you went all the way. Right now, with all the bowls, it's actually 5. Include the CFP currently and the participants of that game would get an increase of 4 games.I see your 64, and I raise you to 128.
