Not since maybe the Huskies in the 08 AC have I seen a team that looked less interested in being in a game.

Might have been Flat that said if we get up a couple scores, that temp will start feeling a lot colder, and that's what looked to have happened.

Don't forget that in 2016, the Cougars beat the Wildcats 69-7.

There was not a seat to be found on their heated benches. It was comical.

As I mentioned on here Arizona has trouble in November in the Pac Northwest.

Here are some scores.

69-28 - 2018 (Pullman)
48-28 - 2017 (Eugene)
69-7 - 2016 (Pullman) 42-17 (Corvallis)
49- 3 - 2015 (Muttlake)

That’s all 4 teams in the PNW who have won by an average score of 55-16.

Basically you take the lizardcats out of the desert and put them in the PNW in November they will get a cold blooded beat down.

I thought Arizona looked talented. They threw up all over themselves, but Tate is legit. Best athlete on the field. We’re a better team, as their defense can’t stop us, but the cold weather really helped. I wouldn’t want to play them in Tucson. They can hang 40+ on a lot of teams.

Arizona looked like a mess. If any A&M fan saw that game they are coming away 100% certain they were right to move on from Sumlin.

There was some point in the second half when UA had outscored WSU 14-0....had the ball in Cougar territory just past midfield....4th down and maybe 9. Sumlin chose to punt. I couldn't believe it, neither could the announcers. Sure, they were still down big...but I thought it was a curious decision for an explosive offense in a game that still had 1+ quarters left to play. I know I was happy to see them punt at that point.

Glad Cougar

It was an odd decision to keep Tate in after that point.

I thought the same. Tate has an incredible arm on the run. The number of passes he completed running full tilt toward the sidelines was amazing. And it wasn't just because he lobbed it up to a wide open receiver. They were great throws. I'm damn glad he didn't have the game Saturday he had a year ago, because it looked like he could have.

:D:D:D

Playing for field position down 40. :D

Just watched the first couple series on the Pac12 replay. Man, Arizona looked totally gassed out on defense. Couple of those big DL were sucking wind on the FIRST drive.

Sumlin's got an out of shape bunch down there.

Saw them sucking wind on the first drive. Not only that, but that fatigue started making them sloppy and frustrated, as they began grabbing facemasks, roughing, holding...

I think Arizona would have fared better if they employed more of the previous years' game plan and let Tate take off on designed runs and ROs. I get why they're reeling him in but you're cutting this dangerous guy's abilities in half. Certainly they could have controlled TOP better than they did and kept their defense off the field, as well as kept our defense on its heels and frustrated us with 3rd and long conversions.

They also looked like they'd been eating Thanksgiving dinner every day all season and skipped sit ups since the beginning of time.
