As usual, they don't rank professionals

UCLA with an 8% acceptance rate, a party school? If you party hard and get into UCLA, you are a friggen stud. The kids I know who went to UCLA were of the square pants variety. "Square pants" because that is what sitting on hard chairs, studying hours on end, does to your arse.

The joke on this list is USC. As the real estate agents always say, "location, location, location". In SC's case the foreign student population also alters the culture of the overall student body; they rake in a lot of money by swelling the foreign student population.

UCLA is a pretty reserved party school. Outside of the frats the school is almost dead on a weekend. Sure, they party. But to be on this list? And ranking Oklahoma ahead of Oklahoma State defies logic.

Santa Barbara is legit. It is closer to WSU of the late 70's than any other school that I've visited, with all the attendant issues that goes with that.

Attendant issues = morally casual attitude?

UCSB has a clock tower that glows red?

Have you been to Pullman on a typical Friday or Saturday recently?

The mighty have fallen. The alumni still know how to party. The students don’t.

Wonder if Pres. Schultz has clamped down on the fun in favor of academics?

In Isla Vista, town next to UCSB, I spotted at least two full blown liquor stores that sell kegs to go.

Exhibit A (Keg and Bottle):

This place is literally right in the middle of their greek and live out houses. There were a couple of more stores like this.

2 stores with kegs?

As I recall, we had 2 full blown beer distributor warehouses in Pullman. Fast food restaurants sold beer, and you could get kegs…well, everywhere.

I was gonna say, there is no shortage of places in Pullman to buy beer and hard liquor. And bars adjacent to or walking distance from campus.

Not discounting Pullman, but it is the equivalent of the "Corner Market" (in Adams Mall) selling kegs to go and hard liquor. Mainly pointing out the convenience of the booze supplies in reference where the students are.
