Tough week, especially with the herky jerky scheduling of one on the road, 1 at home. Anyone have a private jet to offer up for the SC trip?

Any word on I Watts being back this week? If SC shoots anything close to how they did vs gu Cougs will need all the help they can get.

Tried watching the women's game and the St. Mary's/USF game. Watching two games at once didn't work out well for me. Anyway St. Mary's is really good. Don't know if we can beat them with our A+ game.

Can we stop with the tournament talk already. This is not a good team at all. We were dominated in every aspect of basketball. This coach is very good on the offensive side of the ball. However, disapline in all other regards is lacking. Bench Technicals, just poor passing and careless turnovers game-after-game. 17 is beyond horrible. With the size we have loosing the rebound war by 10. Even FT percentage is horrible. Yeah the ref's don't favor us, yeah we play physical -- not very well but brute physical and with loud mouths.

Poor coaching all the way around, the offense is jacking threes the whole game, no rebounding. Just not a good team

Watch out guys. Bringing up the complete lack of defensive ability will get some on here very upset and then they will explain that your eyes just cant see well enough to appreciate the awesomeness of this team and coach....

Yeah well its not just the defense at all, its the lack of focus on details. And I have no problem with the Coach or the Coaching staff, had just thought that they might be capable of growth. I actually like 3's, but abhor turnovers, poor free throw shooting and missing the basic's of blocking out and getting boards. I just think that they needed a brand-new approach to defense and had hoped the G league guy might bring some of that. Clearly not the case. For once the WCC media had it about right. Middle of the pack. Which is right where they are sitting.

The WCC is not the Pac12 nor the Big Sky.

My guess is we have 4 more wins. I don't think we can be St. Mary's, OSU, USF on the road or St. Mary's, Gonzaga, Santa Clara at home. We have a lot of Big Sky talent, some WCC talent, and very little Pac-12 talent.

The defense was actually ok. If WSU's defense was bad, for giving up 60% to 80% from 3 point range, and giving up about 10 to 13 to 15 3 pointers to Santa Clara, then have to say Gobzaga had bad defense in giving up 18 3's, and losing at home to Santa Clara.

Gonzaga didn't have bad defense, and neither did WSU have bad defense.

Santa Clara is a Quad 1, very good team, might even be a NCAA tournament team, that is ultimate red hot from 3 point range.

What was responsible for the loss was a combination of Ultimate Hot 3 point shooting from Santa Clara, Santa Clara being very good, TURNOVERS by WSU, caused by a BIG FAT UGLY HOLE AT 2, SG, GUARD spot, CAUSED BY, TIRED LEGS, LACK OF DEPTH, CAUSED BY KEY INJURIES TO ISIAH WATTS, MARCUS WILSON.

Also Santa Clara owned WSU on the boards, rebounds.

No it's not poor coaching. It was Santa Clara being Ultimate Extremely Red Hot from 3 point range which is why they beat Gonzaga on the road.

It's also Turnovers caused by tired legs, no depth, caused by BIG FAT HOLE at 2, SG, Guard spot caused by Key injuries to Isiah Watts, Marcus Wilson.

It's also caused by injury to Cedric Coward.

Also caused by WSU losing 12 players last season, and Riley replacing 12 players with 12 NEW NEW NEW NEW awesome players, that will beat some teams they should not beat, and lose to teams they should lose to, and lose to teams they should not lose to, and that would lay eggs, HICCUP, BURP, FART, and that it would take time to Jell, have chemistry, learn how to play together, win together, etc.

Considering all that it's a effing miracle that WSU only have 6 losses.

That's epically good coaching.
