So the always upstanding, moral and high ground lawyer of Stormy Daniels tweeted this, roughly 2 hours ago. My instant thought was, "Oregon is going down".

Then an hour ago, this was tweeted:

What a freakin' loser. But unfortunately, Oregon isn't going down... or fortunately because that would probably be a pretty black eye for the PAC. anyways, off season banter. Aventatti walked right into the trap. Loser and moron.

What makes him immoral, the fact he is an attorney or the fact he represented a porn star ?

You're assumptions are almost... astonishing. It isn't either, really. It's because of how he conducts himself. He's slimy as hell. What he says, how he says it.

You can be judged by those that you surround yourself with, so maybe a little slime is oozing off of Daniels onto him. but meh. Not the reason I call him a moron. I call him a moron, I facetiously called him "moral" "upstanding" and a "high ground" lawyer is because he was trying to extort Nike! For F**k sake.

I thought many attorneys that practiced that type of law seem to have a sense of "ooze about them. Maybe lawyer jokes are just way out of line, but part of me thought they were suppose to do what others would not. Take Barry Scheck for example. He argued (successfully) in the OJ case that the way "Mr. Fung" handled the samples contaminated the case. OJ was clearly innocent because of this...

Then less than a year later he was handling potentially wrongfully accused inmates and used DNA to prove their innocence. He made the remark he could take ten different samples and spill them on the driveway, mix them together and it would not make a difference in the DNA. DNA is DNA.

The mental gymnastics much less the moral flexibility to have an 180 from case to case sort of tells me this is what they are partly paid to to. Get the job done...just make sure the FBI is not listening.

The greater lesson...there is always someone that is bigger and has betters lawyers. Take the Presidents news source that tried to use their platform to extort from Jeff Bezos. There is always slime out there, and there are always better attorneys, some less slimy than others.

Geragos is a regular on Adam Carollas podcast, and has his own weekly podcast called Reasonable Doubt I'll be anxious to hear what he has to say about this and how/if he is implicated. Among his clientele are grms such as: Scott Peterson and Chris Brown.

CNN gave Avenatti more air time than than the Good year blimp.

For sure not a good look. Gives the profession a bad look. Not sure the book smarts translate. Look at Trump's lawyer Rudy and Fox commentator Jeanne Pirro. Makes me think I could have made a run at the Bar...

I own a few lots of Nike and to see it drop straight down today (sure only a little over $1.00) after being. Up I was confused I didn’t see the news until a few hours later. I bet we will find Aveatti had someone short it.
Yes it rallied toward the close but damn.

Judge Pirro? She didn’t do anything sleazy did she?

Maybe there was a $$$ retainer to Bol Bol from Nike via Oregon. If the Ducks are penalized, all I care about is that the rest of the P12 doesn’t have to forfeit the share of the March Madness dough.

I can't decide if I would prefer he be right or be lying and be locked up.
Perhaps both: he tried to blackmail them....and they ARE guilty.

Here's the thing. I don't like Uncle Phil. I don't really like Nike gear. But for this guy to try and extort Nike... think of that.

He approaches Nike. Yaps up this plan. Nike internally is, "Hell no are we going to give in to this little roach". They go to the feds, where I'm sure there is either a wire tape or mic recording of some sort of interaction that the feds believe to be support for the extortion.

So Nike has taken the potential of the Feds looking into their books, in order to get Avenatti. Because it's only extortion if it isn't true (not quite accurate but you get my meaning). So the feds are going to HAVE to look into the books of whatever Avenatti either believes or thought or pretended to have on them. They are going to be so squeaky clean...
