Back to Football. Line vs Stanford….

Orgeron will rise again. Consistency is not his middle name, but that guy will not stay down permanently.
Some people stop and admire their work when they succeed. Others always think they can get better no matter how successful. I think Orgeron is pretty clearly in the former. Now, from a life perspective would you rather be that guy and enjoy your success, or be Nick Saban an and be a miserable SOB no matter how much success you’ve had.

To a guy like Saban, though, even if he could survive the down times and keep his role and the same compensation, the misery of the down times, even if nothing like what Ed O is going through now, would in no way justify whatever benefits he might enjoy from the short period of basking in the glory of the championship. It also would eat into him knowing that his legacy and achievements were not what they could have been. I think he also gets a lot of personal satisfaction out of his reputation and achievements, even more than the record itself, or the championships themselves, would imply. There is something to taking a bit of a break and enjoying the fruits of one's labor, but it's a fine line, especially for someone like Saban.

So do I, but the coaching implosion is likely going to derail what was shaping up to be a very fun team to follow.

I with you on this. I am having a blast following this team. What sold me was how hard they are playing on D and just flying around with their hair on fire and being where the ball is.

We've been lucky in years past just to have the secondary in the tv screen.

I figured maybe the offense would come around at some point because we always start well...so I saw that we are capable of making plays.

Just need to iron out a few mistakes. We have a frosh qb that hasn't had a spring practice and split reps in the fall.

How many games has he finished? I think Sorensen said on Pucketts show yesterday 4. And we have won all 4 games he completed.

To me, the above is something to build on.

I didn't want to take the jab...but I knew I wouldn't be able to get into the countries I want to travel to if didn't. For 3 mil, I'd add in a few cartwheels.
