Brand Y has an article stating that Peyton Bender is transferring to a JC in Mississippi. This with the encouragement of the staff, no less. Supposedly, the idea is that he gets his academics in order and then returns to Pullman. But we all know how often JC transfers return to the scene of the crime.
This certainly affects our depth at QB after this season. No immediate effect as Bender was not eligible this coming Fall anyway. But, assuming that Falk goes for the NFL draft after this year, it leaves us in 2017 with Hilinski- who we have yet to see play in a real game, or Gordon- who we have yet to see play either, or Neville- who isn't even out of high school yet.
