Seems we aren’t the only ones to feel victimized. Was Woodie in the booth?

I find that interesting since doxxing is a common practice among the millennials to terrorize people they want cancelled.

Interesting to see what we are not the only ones with this cross to bear, Suudy....

Those guys probably took it a bit too far, but I’ve got no problem with announcers calling out refs for terrible calls. Just like there’s no problem with calling out a player who does something dumb and gets flagged/ejected. When you piss all over yourself and make a call that looks like you e got money on the game (looking at you Stanford PI line judge) you absolutely deserve public criticism.

The conference has actually thrown fuel on the fire regarding the officiating. Many people who couldn't have cared less about that game are now looking at "highlights" of the calls in question to see what all the hubub is about.
Granted, the announcers crossed a professional line by implying that the conference wanted Iowa State to win.

They should embrace the controversy. Honest to God there is NOTHING worse than listening to a couple of corporate stooges simping for the company line. How many times have we all watched the worst call in the world reflexively defended by the booth boys for fear of losing their jobs? It's pathetic - the fans want balls and strikes, not "company line."

Or maybe the announcers are a little delusional, with their conspiracy theory that the soon to be dissolved Big 12 conference, or Bill Gates, or the Illuminati would have a deep vested interest in unranked Iowa State beating crappy Texas Tech, especially since Texas Tech actually did end up winning...

Turns out being a ref at any level is really hard, and it is getting harder and harder to find people willing to do this job, especially for youth sports. Qualified refs fear for their safety, and are quitting, which contributes to worse officiating going forward. Threatening the safety of refs and their families is ridiculous.
