I thought the NCAA had put a stop to the odd colors a few years ago?

Morrisville average high temp in September is 69 degrees, so I don’t think the heat will be a major problem. Still a terrible idea though.

This is F-ing nuts. Might be great in mid-November, otherwise WTH? New Yorkers. The Smurf Turf and Inferno (EWU) are bad enough.

I hope they have misters for the games in September and early October because that field will be hot with those early afternoon games. A black field is not well thought out.

I remember when Maryland was contemplating this…MARYLAND. where it gets to 100 with 90% humidity. They literally wouldn’t be able to have early season day games or people would die.

The NCAA should phase out all non-natural color artificial grass playing surfaces. Point-less and the reality is these surfaces get replaced every 10 years or so.
