Bobby Petrino is the biggest slimedawg of them all. He had a player that had been committed for eight months. A player that was loyal and shut down his recruitment when he committed. Petrino had too many player commit, so he withdrew the offer---yesterday.

But, that is not the worst. He wasn't even man enough to tell the player, Matt Colburn, himself. He had an assistant do the dirty work.

Petrino is worse than scum

You have to admire Petrino's consistency.

Should be no question in anybody's mind what he will do under any set of possible circumstances.

Look 10-15 years ahead, and Sark will resemble Petrino quite a bit, though he may manage to avoid girls on motorcycles.

If the rumors are true, Sark just hasn't been outted in the press on that particular issue, although he might not ride a motorcycle.

Seems like a very similar thing happened to a kid from Texas that committed to WSU 2 years ago, Myron Turner ring a bell.

Petrino is scum, not sticking up for him, but this happens every year, and it is unfortunate, this is one reason there should be an early signing period.

I believe that Leach pulled his offer earlier in the recruiting cycle, but yes he did pull Turner's offer.

This does not happen every year. Offers are pulled, but seldom on signing day itself. This is not the first time that Petrino pulled an offer on signing day itself. There was a lineman two years ago when Petrino was at Western Kentucky that had his offer pulled on signing day after being committed for four months.

But his bro at Idaho actually classed it up

On LOI day. A kid from WV in Spokane verballed to Idaho in the fall but was diagnosed with cancer recently. Petrino sent him a Vandal Jersey to wear when he signed his LOI on Wednesday. He likely won't be able to play football again but Idaho honored their offer. The story is in the Spokesmen Review site.

Saw that as well, and thought it was pretty cool. Kind of a cool reminder that there are more important things in life than recruiting class rankings, and stars, and ...

Nice going Idaho. Nice to see a coach with integrity and a heart.
