BX seems to be going "anti-Leach" lately

I thought Sorenson's article was pretty even handed if you read it all.

On the other hand, I suspect that BX did a little "bait and switch" with the headline. I assume to try to boost ratings.

There is no doubt that BX misses their inside access. But I don't think they are quite as vindictive as many people in this thread seem to believe. I'll grant that just because you are paranoid doesn't mean that people are not out to get you. But I don't see an agenda to the point that some here seem to see. I think part of it is that they are struggling to provide content in the absence of an outgoing (or even moderately cooperative) HC.

If the article had been written by someone that was not a huge Wulff supporter, then some of it would have been fair. That it came from Sorenson, who had his lips firmly planted on Wulff's derriere, lessens the article in my opinion. He wrote article after article criticizing people for coming down too hard on Wulff. That even after three years, it was too early to be critical of Wulff.

It is the height of hypocrisy coming from Sorenson to write that article.

Their monitor is a little twerp with a Napoleonic Complex who tries his best to control his board. One may surmise that if he lets negative thing in the hope that the WSU brass will try to appease him. They should do just the opposite and privately sensor his mosquito behind

Having personally dealt with 2 of their mods, and having also spoken to people who have done the same, I can confirm that they are both vindictive and have an agenda.

At least if it is to believed that their message board is run under the same ideology as the site in general.

Well, by "accountable" in my post I was referring mostly to the public holding ML accountable. In other words, I think it's OK to criticize his decisions, but still remain optimistic about the future.....

I could care less about this BX bs.

Monroe was better earlier, but got slower (and he might have been injured it happens I really like him and wish him the best). The best players play. That's the rules. You want to play. Then be the best.

10% of our ENTIRE bowl history has been achieved by Leach. In 2 years.

His offensive system is in place now. Now it's just plugging in guys and upgrading.

The defense and special teams get sorted and how good will we be? Think about it. If our defense and special teams are middle of the pack without a doubt we will go bowling. We are getting better as a program, and Leach will drag all the people that have been holding us back kicking and screaming if he has to. But we will become a good program.

We will not sit back and let people play because we don't want to hurt their feelings, or their parents feelings. We will play the best and become a place where the best play.

You're on FIRE, tron…

Sorensen's body of work, such as it is, is ample evidence of his loyalty to Wulff.

I don't think that's entirely fair. If you've followed Sorenson over the years, he sucks up to whomever our head coach is. He was behind Walden (obviously), loved Price, loved Doba, pulled hard for Wulff, and now he's cheering on Leach.

I agree with some other posters that the headline and general "gist" of the article could be critiqued, but that's OK considering the source.

Stress his connection to the bitter, old man.

fixed that for you.

I'm also going to quote the one and only Biggs on something he once said about player/parent hypersensitivity that applies to our coaches as well....

If you can't handle internet/booster criticism at WSU, it's time to move down a level or 2. Good Lord, are the handful of people who routinely post on both the websites applying too much heat?

Have we reached the point where a head coach who makes almost $3M/year can't handle mild criticism for choking away a bowl game victory, and posting a disappointing 3-9 with season the following year? Very few (if any) of our fans are screaming for Leach's head. Despite a pretty mediocre 3-year record. How many fan bases are more patient than ours?
