Bye Week

Good thread to talk about other schools. Based on what we saw with the Buffs today if you are putting a W in sharpie for our game with them in November you may be in for a surprise. Oregon humbled them yes, but they are a dangerous team. When Hunter gets back that freshman and him are gonna be a difficult combo to defend.

Oh yeah Colorado is definitely much better much of that is because of WSU Coug Bartolone coaching the receivers.

I wrote this way early when USC was giving them the business and it really looked grim there early.

CSU HUMBLED, HUMILIATED them, CU.

WSU HUMILIATED CSU.

OREGON HUMILIATED CU.

USC PUT 48 ON CU, before CU made it close in GARBAGE TIME.

CU's O LINE IS TERRIBAD.

CU's defense is terrible.

WSU should score more on CU's TERRIBAD DEFENSE, then WSU did vs OSU's AWESOME DEFENSE.

WSU after the bye week, and after the UCLA game will be relatively HEALTHY.

WSU's only loss of the season prior to playing CU, will probably be a close loss to Oregon, and WSU will be ranked about #7 to #10 to #13, to CU's #50 to #75 to #100.

And WSU will probably be about 7-1, #10, and will probably beat #100 CU, 42 to 29 in PULLMAN.

5 to 7 to 10 to 13 to 15 to 17% chance that CU could UPSET WSU by 1 point.

Speaking of other schools, anyone seeing the pinball machine in Norman?

Oklahoma and Iowa state have 50 points on the board with 6 minutes left until halftime.

30-20 Sooners right now.

There are still a few games that could turn around, but right now it doesn’t appear there will be any more upsets of the teams #11-15. Makes me think that we may move down a spot next week - Utah won’t get punished too badly for losing to OSU, and the beavers could jump back over us. Wouldn’t surprise me if OSU, Utah, and WSU end up 15-16-17.

Question for Cougatron!??

Is it just my imagination, or have you been gone, (off this board), for 6 months, or a year?
Yeah unfortunately I don’t get to hang out with everybody as much as I used to on here but occasionally I would pop in and read.

I’ve always enjoyed your posts.

I was so happy last year with Dickert keeping us bowling and how he managed the transition after the pandemic Rolo fiasco and he’s got the guys playing great.

What infuriates me now is the whole conference realignment I just hate how we’ve been treated (as I know everyone here does)

For the last 10 years we have gone bowling (and I’m including this year because I think we go again this year) 8 times*

* (and 1 year was a pandemic and the other was Leach’s 3rd year) .

So from 2014-2023 As a power 5 school. We have an 80% bowl appearance and we are wondering what our fate is…

So I’m glad to be back but this conference stuff is ridiculous.

Only the big networks want about 40 schools in big time football, no matter the geographic makeup of that group. The rest of us, CF Nation wants the geographic conferences and the rivalries left intact. It’s ridiculous to think of Cal in a leauge game with Maryland or ucla playing Rutgers.
