Doesn't Jack Bennett have a son who's a young assistant coach or small school head coach somewhere?

Glad Cougar

Probably. Jack is actually a more hilarious version of Dick. Might be worth a combo look again...who knows?

Trust in Chun and Pres Kirk. And a big ass donation from Bill.

OK, maybe two out of three of those.

Agree and my guess is that after the WBB Alaska near fiasco, Schulz won't let this happen.
What was the deal with the Alaska coach? I had thought he was the pick early on but this is the second time someone who would know has confirmed it.

If it’s better left unsaid no biggie.

Dick Bennett has a younger brother.

Have watched a couple of his tapes. Some interesting defensive concepts that kind of deviate from the PackLine Defense. PLD is always help/recover - virtually no ball pass denial. The younger Bennett takes it a step further in man and puts everybody in help position.

We actually ran his 3-2/1-2-2 almost exclusively.
Interesting, nice find.

First thing I noticed about Dicks Pack line was how good it was at double teaming the post without giving up the easy look on a kickout pass

The Double comes from the opposite post and the weakside wing drops down all the way to other block.

The player guarding the entry pass locks up a direct kick back from the post. The point plays center field anticpating whether a kickout is skipping to the wing on the other side or the top of the key.

There's actually a lot of zone principles in the Pack Line. I switched it around a bit and just camped in a 1-2-2 so the big guys don't get drawn out on the perimeter. Same techniques though and we choked the elbows on help and recover on the drive. Rarely in deny. Always help and recover.

But, hey, I don't know sh*t about basketball according to some...

Better left unsaid, or via private email

Walden told Chun "This Is The Girl"

Chun went along because he wanted to ride in the Dune Buggy with The Cowboy.
Messy, but that is how parts (coaches) are cast.
