ILB is so much about instincts. Back to coaching, you implement a good scheme and have some kids that were overlooked athletically but smart, tough kids (PP), you can build the core of a sound defense. Really looking forward to this DC hire. He's a PWO but he had an offer to Butler. From WA originally. Decent get. We have had quite a few LB's who have walked on only to find themselves on scholarship a couple years later. Nate Derider, Cyrus Coen, Parker Henry, and Dillon Sherman come to mind. Maybe Hank Pladson come spring.

Nasty!Do you guys realize that it costs about $72,500 a year to attend the Academy? There are usually two types of athletes using the Academy. One there are the very gifted athletically who need academic help and those whose parents can afford the steep costs.. These parents are trying to get their child seen by college coaches in a large venue.. The Academy sports are well attended by college coaches as they can see potential recruits who may be scholie worthy. Sometimes it works and sometimes they do not get offers.Maybe Chun will send his kids to the Academy?
