2020 Bruce Seton III. 230 lb FL ILB w interest from BSU, Ohio State and UW. Awesome!

Does he have any legit offers? I can’t find any. He will probably be honorable mention all PAC 12 in a few years.

We appear to have an in with IMG academy, we took a ilb last year from there who redshirted

this kid has prototype size 6-2 230

These are the types of kids WSU, and most non-blue blood programs, are going to have to build their defenses around. Prototypical DT's are always going to be hard to come by, and to offset that, we'll need a handful of 230-250lb kids who can (hopefully) edge rush, fill gaps in the running game, and cover the flat routes.

He's a PWO but he had an offer to Butler. From WA originally. Decent get. We have had quite a few LB's who have walked on only to find themselves on scholarship a couple years later. Nate Derider, Cyrus Coen, Parker Henry, and Dillon Sherman come to mind. Maybe Hank Pladson come spring.

ILB is so much about instincts. Back to coaching, you implement a good scheme and have some kids that were overlooked athletically but smart, tough kids (PP), you can build the core of a sound defense. Really looking forward to this DC hire.

Looks like his speed and quickness may be a problem Good luck to the guy no harm on ytying.

Maybe leach will ?Just look at his tapes there are valid reasons that schools did not offer. He has the requisite size. Hell maybe Gibbon will pay his way through school?

Do you guys realize that it costs about $72,500 a year to attend the Academy? There are usually two types of athletes using the Academy. One there are the very gifted athletically who need academic help and those whose parents can afford the steep costs.. These parents are trying to get their child seen by college coaches in a large venue.. The Academy sports are well attended by college coaches as they can see potential recruits who may be scholie worthy. Sometimes it works and sometimes they do not get offers.Maybe Chun will send his kids to the Academy?
