Conference advisory board created

I noticed a misprint. On Duane Brelsford, it says “community representative” where it should say “major donor.”

More people that don't know what they are talking about, don't know stuff, etc.

About 70% of the advisory board don't know what they are talking about, dont know stuff.

And so you have uninformed non experts, that don't know stuff advising what to do, where those in charge might listen to, do wrong, bad things, etc, because of dumb advice from those not qualified to give good advice.

It's like a smaller scale repeat of how the unqualified presidents who didn't know stuff, etc, doing it their dumb way over the right way, commishm

Yep let's keep on listening, and doing it the dumb way of those who are unqualified, because they don't know the right, applicable stuff, and stuff to do, instead of listening to, and doing it the smart way of those who not only in charge, but know hoe to do it.
.
Way to put this so called Advisory committee, that's unqualified, above Oliver Luck, or a REAL QUALIFIED ADVISORY COMMITTEE, comprised of Experts like Oliver Luck, etc.

You know that if there is disagreement between Oliver Luck, Experts, etc, and the unqualified, non expert Advisory Committee, that they will do it the Advisory committee way, instead of Oliver Luck's, EXPERTS WAY.

What's the freaking point of hiring Oliver Luck, expert or a supposedly expert commish, if your not going to listen to them or do it their way.

Put the freaking experts IN CHARGE.

You pegged that right. The Brelsford Visitor Center should say it all. I know Duane personally. He's a good guy, and despite his success in the Real Estate market has still been a good guy. Not a snob at all. He's got a big place on Lake CDA. No bad words at all. A few jealous people bad mouth him, but that's what they are. I'm jealous too, but would never bad mouth him.

Hey MI can you do something like this, but where Stanford, WSU, Cal, OSU compare to the rest of the PAC that left to either the Big 10, Big 12?

And then can you HIGHLIGHT WSU, OSU, and how they compare, and then send it to FOX, ESPN, APPLE, BIG 12 presidents, Commish Yormack, etc.

Then can we put that data, comparison on the WSU flag, and wave the data comparison flag at GAMEDAY.

Beginning to think that the only way WSU gets sold effectively, is IF WE AS WSU FANS DO IT, instead of relying on INCOMPETENT LEADERSHIP.

Yeah, nothing against him. But this list, near as I can tell, doesn’t include anyone who has any business weighing in on athletics matters.

WSU & PAC continue with the blind leading the blind. We don’t & never had a chance with this so-called leader.

Hey mik,

Currently in a meeting, but I pulled this off either Die Hard, or Cougfan, as a copy and paste.

I really don’t know where the root data comes from. Sorry.

“WSU announces an Athletics Advisory Committee to "provide essential insights and feedback to Athletic Director Pat Chun and me as we explore the opportunities presented by potential new conference affiliations".

A self-preservation CYA move to deflect and spread responsibility for decisions made by Shulz and Chun.

I figure both Schultz & Chun will be out of WSU soon, rushing to take their next gig,if they can get it. Basically to cover their royal FU here. Buyer beware.

Gotta have all the "stakeholders" involved. Less facetiously, there is something to remaining mindful of things like impacts on athletes from extended travel, etc., but you don't need to have all of these cooks in the kitchen with no relevant experience or expertise. Sounds like, at best, a way to legitimize common sense that every other school President seems to be able to exercise; more cynically, a way to get more people involved to not have to bear sole responsibility for something like going to the MWC (we're still talking about the "committee" that recommended Wulff's hiring, for God's sake); and, I fear, yet another way to lead to this getting even more ****ed up.

Chun and Schulz are being paid a lot of money to handle this situation. What's a volunteer committee going to do? Tone deaf. Jesus Christ!

Chun should be scheduling buses for middle school track meets.

How the fck some of these morons find themselves making decisions at this level is astounding.

WSU thought $30,000,000 per year in tv $$$ wasn’t enough.

Read that again.

Yeah we (and the rest of the PAC) f-ed that up big time. What a bunch of overeducated idiots.

Eh…it worked out ok for the Seahawks. I actually think Chun would be the Perfect hire for tOSU.
