I know … volleyball typically what makes the headlines .
The only real reason we know about the rolo is because of media day and he was not able to attend.
Jen Greeny also wins and gets to the postseason (but seriously she should get vaxxed and I would expect her fate to be similar to Rolo's if she isn't/does not)
Of course Volleyball is a headline sport, but at a large public University like WSU, it's a widely visible program.
Are we offering her an exception to criticism because she's winning? Because she's female?

None of the above. We are not criticizing because it was not known she wasn't vaxed, which now we know she is. So maybe that is why we aren't offering her any exceptions. And if she wasn't vaxed, she should look for another job.
Not too surprising she is vaccinated, given that 78.3% of adults age 18-64 in the State of Washington have had at least one dose of a COVID vaccine. Pretty much just the lunatic fringe unvaccinated at this point.

Civil discourse used to consist of disputing another's ideas, now it is acceptable to use ad hominem attacks to debase and dehumanize anyone who doesn't walk lockstep with a prescribed belief system. "Deplorables/lunatic fringe" isn't talking about people's beliefs, it dehumanizes them so that when these people die, or are attacked, or.. i don't know, rounded up "for the good of the people", there won't be a peep because society has already deemed them as "less than." Its a dangerous precedent to set, and when our leaders talk like this its incredibly worrisome. The rhetoric around the 9/11 terrorists wasn't as strongly worded as how people now describe unvaxxed; it was distasteful to show Sadaam swinging from a rope, but photos of unvaxxed people who have died from covid are displayed on reddit like a brag board.
If you dispute any of what I wrote, you're either not paying attention or a bald faced liar, because its happening and its real, and its disgusting to watch my country be divided like this as the whims of a group of politicians who's only real concern is getting re-elected.

Well maybe ghe good Lord had people invent these vaccines to help with the auto immune system , because without various drugs people would be dead. Polio, comes to mind. Certain cancers. Hell even the blue pill was given to enhance what the Good Lord gave us …

Why do I need to read Green's comments. Yes, people are insisting he get vaccinated or he doesn't play half his games. People "pushed" me to get vaccinated so I could attend public schools. Not sure why you or Green see this as different.
But if green feels that strongly I get it, he just doesn't play in Cali. Those are choices everyone has to make. Just like when you had kids, you had a choice, get your kids vaxed or don't attend public school or play team sports. There is no difference other than we are at the beginning of a disease we cant even acknowledge as anything more than people dying from the flu.
And maybe it makes sense for the head of Pfizer coach the Warriors since he doesn't believe what Steve Kerr is doing and outside of understanding vaccines he thinks he can coach because he read coaching manuals on the internet.

Let's see: choosing to listen to Draymond Green espousing about covid as a political football and it should be a personal decision, or, adhering to the overwhelming medical opinion that vaccination is the safest and best way to rid ourselves of this virus? I'll have to think about that some more.

What would you have me read into it . He said it is personal and people should make their own decision and that he couldn’t understand why their is a push to get it done. Yoi consistently use Sweden as a model. Sweden didn’t shut down but their GDP lost more than their neighbors who did shut down .
Second , using them as a model would be like WSU using the usc model. The dynamics are completely different . Most of their “big” cities are the size of Everett or less. They don’t have the international travel the us has , or even the domestic travel.

You’re framing the debate incorrectly. Immune versus non-immune is the proper manner. Vaccinated versus unvaccinated is nonsense.
Well, that is true, but maybe a little nuanced.
Immunity is the goal.
Vaccines produce the highest level of immunity, and are more reliable than actually having the infection. Vaccination has been shown to boost the immune response evoked by the virus.
For most of us, receiving the vaccine correlates well with immunity, although you would have to test your antibody titers to know for certain.
