8-7 over Ducks on a walkoff wild pitch of all things. Cougs had a 7-3 lead with 2 outs in the 9th inning but gave up a grand slam. Still a win....first conference victory of the season.

Good for them. Nothing is ever easy. Unfortunately, this is a lost season.
One of the strangest games I've ever seen. Coug pitcher ejected. Team still wearing balaclavas because of cold weather. Ump gets beaned and then makes questionable calls for the next four innings after which he takes himself out- diagnosed with concussion. Cougs within victory by a strike or two and then give up a grand slam leading to overtime. Ducks walk a Coug with a pitch so far out of the zone that our guy on third is able to score before the catcher can retrieve the ball.
