Cougars get 30 votes in the latest AP poll, 7 more than Notre Dame and 7 fewer than Minnesota. Oregon State has 42 votes. Somehow, the Ducks are back in the top 25 (89) by virtue of their lopsided win over FCS Eastern Washington. I would say OSU's wins over Boise State and at Fresno State are more impressive than a 46-point beatdown by Georgia and the non-challenging home win vs. EWU. I would also argue the Cougar's win at Wisconsin is more impressive than what the Ducks have done (or haven't done).
The coach's poll is similar although WSU has more votes than OSU. (Ducks also in the top 25 again). It will obviously take a win vs. Colorado State and a win vs. UO to get the Cougars into the Top 25.
